Thank You Lawd...

That I'm done with yesterday! Man, I didn't think I was gonna make it. It was really hard to see my aunt laid out like that. But my folks are so crazy, there was jokes in the midst of the funeral. I love my folks... my aunt woulda been pleased had she been there. But it was so hard on my other aunts and uncles, not to mention my momma. They held it down though. On the down side, I now have a $65 hair-do I don't want. This straw set is in no way practical for the work I do. But I'll be damned if I wash it out before Sunday. I'mma get my $65 worth outta this hair. You have no idea how much I miss the cornrows though. I can't wait until Sunday to get them back. Sunday night actually, because the first part of The Journey starts Sunday afternoon. That will determine whether or not I do this. Because in a lot of ways I'm still wary about it. But I trust the ol' schools who are there and have my back. So here's hoping for the best. Well this post was just a mini-update to let y'all know I'm doing okay (those who care, LOL). Since I wasn't here yesterday I have a lot to do. So I may return, I may not. In any case I don't have time to mandate today. So just do what 'cha do until I come back. That is all.
