Sleaze in peace...
At 9:45 this morning, the legend we all know as Rick James passed away. He was 56 years old. I just heard this on the ever-so-lame Power 106, and I hoped it was a joke. A scanless, tasteless ass joke, but a joke nonetheless. It's not. King Superfreak is dead, y'all. I know somewhere in Compton all the folks who were grown in the late 70's are in mourning (my pops included, I'm sure). Let's have a Royal moment of silence for ya boy Rick James.

Man, I don't know, GC. I feel kinda sad though, because I really enjoyed him on the Chapelle's show. I'd hoped they'd do more of that with him. But now they can't.
