Insightful Revelations after Lunch: #2 since I started the new, sexy, higher paying place of employment

Citizens, I have a new revelation, and here it is: "What you put in, is what comes out".

Profound, I know.

Now that can be applied to some gross situations, but feel me though. I realized that listening to certain music has various effects on my psyche. I used to be very conscious of this when I was a BONE Thugs-N-Harmony addict. Some of their songs could make me feel peaceful, and most of them made me feel mad. Now combine that with the anger from the last post, and you’ll see I was a pretty angry chick growing up.

Since I’ve been grown, I haven’t given this corollary much thought anymore. But now it has become serious enough for me to remember it again.

I am hereby placing a self-imposed ban on Slow Motion by the ultra-fugly Juvenile. I found that on my Royal Quest, this song isn’t helping matters. Unfortunately for me, I have to refrain from listening to Juvenile’s song until further notice.

To all the folks who’ve sent me supportive words concerning Her Imperial Majesty’s Quest to Sexless Sanctification, I thank you, on the real. Because it is hard to keep on keepin’ on, and it’s nice to know I’m not alone. Hoodwise, my past was rather fulfilling. I was living the life all the other broads wished they could. And I knew it. But trying to be right has its rewards, and eventually I’ll receive what’s due to me for trying to act like I got some sense. When I look in the faces of my Young Heffas of the Lord, I know I’m doing the right thing. Because I’m living what I’m telling them. That’s a reward all in itself. I tell you what though, if it gets any worse I’mma hit one of you stronger folks up to be my sponsor in this, Alky-Anonymous style. I’mma be calling you all late, sounding like a fiend, twitchin’, freakin’ out and all that. You’ll have to talk me out of my car, back into my house. Someone’s gonna have to take my cell phone and my chirp phone. Because I wont be able to be trusted with it.

Also, while it’s on my mind, one of our fellow citizens, Sir Henry of Masterpiecea is going to be tying the knot relatively soon. I don’t know what day, but I remember he said it was about six weeks from now. I don’t remember how many weeks ago that was. But anyway, I want to wish the educated, articulate and prolific homie many blessings. Because you’re doing big things, brotha. Don’t think you’re not. I may not know you all that well, but I’m praying the Lord’s blessings upon you and your union. Go on wit’ cha bad self, Henry. Much luv.

Well, back to work, all of you. Of course, the Queen has mandated it, and it shall be so.

I feel ya...It has gotten to the point were I don't even watch Midnight Love anymore...I even threw away my 12 Play & Diary of A Mad Band CD (classics)...They were not good for my walk. I learned in my walk with God that the more you plug your body into things that relate to sexual desires, the more vulnerable you are...But you know that we ain't going to let you fall like that. WE GOT YOUR BACK...And always remeber you are what you eat...Just keep feeding off the word...I'll keep you posted

Cornelius, you're becoming one of my favorite citizens up in here, lol. I appreciate all that positive reinforcement. I need all the support I can get, you have no idea man. Like you, I had to trash a lot of my good old baby-makin' classics circa 1990-1994. That's when the music from my "era" was good, LOL. I hope it'll get easier as time goes by, thats real. Keep me posted, and in prayer, LOL. Thanks bruh.
